IC

Individual Contributor 個別貢獻者。通常是指資深能力也強的員工，寧可不當經理帶人而只當個別貢獻者。

例子:

Johnny: With Joe’s experience, he should lead that team. Why does he not take the job?

強尼: 喬的經驗那麼夠，他應該是去帶領那團隊。為什麼他不拿下這工作呢？

Bonnie: He’d rather be an IC and not to manage people.

邦尼: 他不想帶人，寧願選擇當個個別貢獻者。

Indepedent Contractor 獨立經營的承包商。提供服務，專業技能或咨詢的個人，可以視為獨立經營的承包商。有些有自己營業的有有限公司來被聘請。像最近流行的外送服務員，是屬於IC 獨立經營的承包商。

例子:

Johnny: the California Prop22 gave the gig drivers better benefits and remain as ICs.

強尼: 加州第22提案給共享經濟駕駛員更好的服利也維持他們獨立經營的承包商的身份。

Bonnie: Yeah, it gave them flexibilty but they are still not employees.

邦尼: 是啊，給了他們彈性但還他們還不是正式員工。
